Programme 24-25 juin
Dimanche 25 juin Rinpoche présidera la puja d’Amitabha pour Son Eminence Togdan Rinpoche, qui est entré dans le Parinirvana le 24 mai dernier, pour se joindre aux grandes célébrations en son hommage qui ont lieu dans tous les centres de la lignée Drikung.
Horaires indicatifs: à partir de 9h00 – Les activités du dimanche se termineront vers 16h00.
Il est évidemment impossible de présenter dans toute son importance et sa grandeur Son Eminence Choje Togdan Rinpoche. La vie de ce grand Maître réalisé et Tertön ne peut être résumée en quelques lignes.
Nous ne pouvons que citer quelques faits essentiels de sa biographie, pour ceux qui n’ont pas eu l’immense bonheur de le rencontrer.
S.E. Togdan Rinpoche nacquit au Ladakh en 1938 et à 18 mois fut reconnu comme la 9ème réincarnation de la lignée des Togdan Tulku. Il fut également reconnu comme la manifestation de Nyang Tingdzin Zangpo (8ème siècle), le premier abbé de Samye et disciple de cœur du grand Vimalamitra.
En 1960 il rencontra son guru-racine, S.S. Dudjom Rinpoche, qui le nomma son successeur dans la transmission du cycle du Rinchen Terdzod, puis il devint le Seigneur du Dharma (Choje) du Ladakh, responsable de plus de 50 monastères et un grand Tertön et détenteur de la lignée Drikung. Il a aussi travaillé inlassablement au niveau social et politique pour le bien du peuple du Ladakh.

Saturday 24, Khenpo Rinpoche will continue the transmission of the Kangyur with the rituel of Washing Puja for those who wish to receive it.

On Sunday, Rinpoche will lead the Amitabha puja for His Eminence Togdan Rinpoche, who entered Parinirvana on May 24th, to join the great celebrations in his honour which are performed in all Drikung centers.
General schedule: from 9 am onwards. Activities on Sunday will end around 4 pm.
It is impossible, of course, to introduce in all his importance and greatness His Eminence Choje Togdan Rinpoche. The life of this great accomplished Master and Tertön cannot be resumed here. We can only report a few essential points of his biography, for those who didn’t have the immense fortune to meet him.
H.E. Togdan Rinpoche was born in 1938 and was recognized as the 9th incarnation of Togdan Tulku when he was only 18 months old.
Rinpoche was also recognized as the manifestation of Nyang Tingdzin Zangpo, the Tibetan minister of religion in the 8th century, the first abbot of Samye monastery and the heart disciple of the great guru Vimalamitra. In 1960s he met his root guru, H.H. Dudjom Rinpoche who appointed him as his successor in transmitting the Rinchen Terdzod.
He was the Drikung Dharma Lord (Choje) of Ladakh, with the responsibility for over 50 monasteries, and a great Tertön and Lineage Holder. He also worked untiringly, socially and politically, for the benefit of the Ladakhi people.
